The Founder’s Why

Our Purpose is Personal

The "why" for building an online peer support platform is deeply rooted in my personal journey with mental health. At the age of 25, I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, a reality I struggled to accept for many years. I lived in denial, burdened by the weight of shame and stigma that surrounded my diagnosis. It took time, but I eventually embarked on a journey of acceptance, learning to embrace who I am as an individual living with a severe mental health condition. This platform is my way of extending a hand to others who may be facing similar battles.

I know firsthand how isolating mental health struggles can be, and I want to create a space where no one has to feel alone. I aim to normalize open conversations about men’s mental health— conversations that need to happen to foster understanding, compassion, and healing. This platform is not just a project; it's my way of contributing to a world where everyone feels supported and understood, no matter where they are on their mental health journey.
